Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

How long we retain your data

Forms and emails
When you submit a form the data included is sent directly to us in the form of an email. We will then contact you when we can. No form data is stored on our server.
Emails are kept indefinitely or until you request them to be deleted. this will include all ongoing emails with us. We highly recommend requesting this as soon as all your questions are answered.
Passwords
If you have an account with us you will have a password. For maximum security we recommend you use a strong password 8 characters or more wit alphanumeric characters capitals and symbols however this is not required. We store all passwords securely using hashing. This ensures if an attacker were to get in they shouldn’t be able to find your original password and helps improve our security.
Https
Our website supports https or hypertext transport protocol (secure). This means the connection between our server and your computer is secure. You can check this with the padlock in the URL bar. If you cannot see this do not enter any personal information or login. The website is designed to redirect you to https but if you don’t have the padlock and it says http then try changing it to https as shown below. If this fails it is likely our certificate which provides the secure connection has ended. We will fix this as soon as possible.
